In a conceptual-analytical study using a deductive classificatory content analysis method ten constructivist instructional design models were selected, and learning/teaching approaches within each model were appraised. Using the original writings of the originators of each design model, the learning and teaching approaches employed or permitted to be used it each model were classified as: (1) individual; (2) group; and (3) dual-purpose approaches. A six category classification of constructive instructional design models was achieved. Findings show that none of the models have both dual-purpose teaching/learning approaches, and in teaching and learning approaches, most of the models fall in the "individual" category, and only few models fall in the "group" category with regard to teaching and learning approaches.

The present research was conducted to study depression, sensation seeking, aggression, attachment styles, and Education of parent as predictors of drug dependency among Ahwaz teenage boys. The subjects studied included 112 drug-dependent teenage boys and 112 nondrug-dependent teenage boys . To select the sample of the dependent group, accessible sample was used and to select the non-dependent group, the multiphasic random method was used. All the subjects were assessed by Beck Depression Inventory, Zuckerman Sensation Seeking Scale, Ahwaz Aggression Inventory and Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment. To analysis data, the discriminant analysis was used. The results of the research showed that teenage drug-dependency can be predicted based on the depression, sensation seeking, attachment styles and Education of parent.

This study was aimed to investigate the relationships of personality dimensions with student’s General Health dimensions. 370 undergraduate students, filled NEO personality inventory(NEO-FFI), and General Health Questionnaire(GHQ-28). Statistical methods including Mean, Standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Correlation coefficient and stepwise Regression was used to analyzing data. Results of correlational analyses showed that, both Extraversion and Conscientiousness have positive relation with General Health. There was also a significant negative relation between Neuroticism and General Health dimensions. Openness had a significant negative relation with Somatic disorder and Social functional disorder, but there was no significant correlation between Agreeableness and General Health dimensions. According to results of t-test, there was no significant differences in magnitude of personality and General health dimensions of students. But the results of ANOVA showed significant differences between personality and General health dimensions in different Majors of students. Finally the results of regression analyze showed that only three of five personality dimensions(Neuroticism, Extraversion and Agreeableness) could predict %50 of General Health's variance.

The present research aimed to compare the efficacy of Choice Theory and Systematic Motivational Counseling group therapies on marital satisfaction. Thirty female married were selected. Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS) was administered with participants who were assigned to three groups, including a Control Group. One of the other groups received Choice Therapy and the other one Systematic Motivational Counseling. The results indicated that there was no significant difference between choice therapy and Systematic Motivational Counseling on increasing marital satisfaction. Participants in both intervention groups showed significant increases in their marital satisfaction than those in the Control Group.

The aim of this research is studying the role of school type, academic field and area of life in students on perceptions of classroom activities and achievement goals. For this goal, we selected a sample of third grade boy from Tehran city High Schools. Size sample was 571, which was selected based on multistage cluster sampling. Students achievement goal orientation scale (Midgly and his colleague and Students Perceptions of Classroom Activities (SPCA), (Gentry and his colleague, 2002), were administrated to students as a group. Questionnaires validity and reliability were verified. Result of Pearson correlation showed that mutual correlation between components of classroom environmental perceptions (interest, challenge, choice and joint) and achievement goals (mastery, approach-performance and avoiding-performance) were significant (p

The main research of the present study was to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and its components (emotional self awareness, assertiveness, self-regard, self-actualization, independence, empathy, social responsibility, interpersonal relationship, reality testing, flexibility, problem solving, stress tolerance, impulse control, optimism, happiness) with sense of humor in university students. To accomplish the aims of the research 320 students were selected for the sample group using stratified random cluster sampling. Bar-on emotional intelligence and the sense of humor questionnaires were administered. Pearson,s correlation coefficient and analysis of stepwise regression were used to analyze data. Results showed that there is a positive meaningful relation between emotional intelligence and its components with sense of humor. Also of the between emotional intelligence components, optimism, self-actualization and happiness components are capable of predicting sense of humor.

Motor sequence is bases of much of human intelligent behavior. It is because of such sequential skills involved chaining a number of primitive actions together. Cognitive aging is the part of aging that cause decrease cognitive ability of elderly such as learning. The purpose of this research is comparison of explicit learning in youth and elderly. Soft ware of serial reaction time task is used for sequence learning. This software registers errors and Response Time (RT) in response to sequential stimulus. We compare youth (N=15) and elderly (N=15) in two groups. The task defines in 10 blocks that the first and the sixth blocks where random and the other blocks were sequential. ANOVA for compare response times and errors in different blocks and paired T Test for compare regular and irregular blocks and independent T Test for compare youth and elderly is used. Result show that in youth and elderly RT decreases in regular and irregular blocks. Errors in youth is lower than elderly. RT decreasing in elderly is lower than youth. As frontal lobe is affected in explicit learning and in aging process frontal lobe is more deteriorate than other brain part. The explicit learning in elderly is less than youth.

The present study was carried out in Ardabil Province to investigate the relationship between perceived organizational healths of high school teachers with their organizational commitment. The organizational health was conceptualized on the basis of Hoy et. al. (1991) Conceptualization as a construct consisting seven dimensions including institutional integrity, principal influence, consideration, initiating structure, resource support, morale and academic emphasis. To asses organizational commitment, the three dimensional model of Meyer and Allen (1990) was used. The statistical population of the study composed of all state High school male teachers of Ardabil province in the Academic year 2006-2007(1385-1386). The statistical samples of 350 state High school male teachers were selected using the multi-steps sampling method. The method use in the research is descriptive –co relational and the data were collected using OHI-S and OCQ (New edition) questionnaires. The result of data analysis indicates a positive correlation between organizational health with its seven dimensions and the organizational commitment in its three types. From among dimensions of organizational health, morale, academic emphasis, principal influence, resource support and initiating structure are predicators of organizational commitment. 40 percent of organizational commitment variance is predictable by the change in these five dimensions. From among prediction variables, the share of principal influence, morale, resource support is higher in predicting of organizational commitment; and the share of technical level is higher in prediction organizational commitment than the other two levels.

The purpose of this research was the investigation of the relationships between the effects of rhythmic movement exercises on the function of digit symbol memory in children with special learning disabilities. All subjects of this study were selected from Mashhad primary school students that because of problems in their learning processes were under special educating system of "education of exceptional children organization". Before beginning of this study, all mentioned subjects were evaluated using the standard tests to determine exact special learning deficits (N=58), after which they were divided randomly into experimental and control groups. Both groups were tested using Wechsler digit symbol memory (before starting the exercises). The experimental group was experienced a 4 month period of rhythmic movement exercises (3 session every week, one and half hour per session, total sessions 48) with application of a maximum 60% of heart beat. The control group was under usual living rhythms. At the end of the experimental period both groups were tested by Wechsler digit symbol memory criteria. The results show that there is a significant positive relationship between rhythmic movement exercise training and digit symbol memory improvement in the students suffering from special learning disorders. Movement therapy is an accepted method for some forms of mental disorders that may improve the interactions between touch and proprioceptive systems of the nervous system and cortical sensory and motor areas of the brain.
