This study is aimed to survay the impact of hidden curriculum on the students of Ferdowsi university of Mashhad. At the first, phase inter views were performed with a sample of last semester students, about their viewpoint on what university students learn in a hidden or implicit way during their studies. Based on the collectd data, 11 areas of changes were extracted: religious identity, national identity, scientific identity, addiction susceptible identity, rule of the game, responsibility, cheating, group work, self-control, hope in future, and impudence in relationship with a member of the opposite gender. In order to measure the categories of change, valid scales were developed and administered on 289 students from education, chemistry, and electrical engineering departments who were in first, fourth, or last semester.The results showed that; scores for religious identity, national identity, scientific identity, responsibility, and hope in future were reduced; whereas, scores on other item were increased?except for group work, which remained unchanged.
