The Present study deals with the analysis of citation behaviour of Hummanities and Social Sciences Scientisits based on a quantititive study of productivity, Characteristics and various aspects of national and international publication in the fields of Hummanities and Social Sciences.
By using secondary analysis metod a sample of articles published in national scientific jounals and articles indexed in social science. Citation Index (SSCI) during a period of Five years was analysed. The Findings revealed that the hummanities and social sciences areas are facing method and methodolgical challenges in scientometric analysis. .
