The study of relationship between perceptions of classroom environmental and achievement goals: What are differences between school type, academic field and area of life?

Abstract

The aim of this research is studying the role of school type, academic field and area of life in students on perceptions of classroom activities and achievement goals. For this goal, we selected a sample of third grade boy from Tehran city High Schools. Size sample was 571, which was selected based on multistage cluster sampling. Students achievement goal orientation scale (Midgly and his colleague and Students Perceptions of Classroom Activities (SPCA), (Gentry and his colleague, 2002), were administrated to students as a group. Questionnaires validity and reliability were verified.
