Abstract

Dyslexia is a disorder that reading achievement according to age, education and intelligence is lower than expected. This group of children has been affected in the field of neuropsychology. the aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of neuropsychological interventions in reading components ( Speed, accuracy and understanding that are impaired in these children. The research was semi- experimental and the statistical population included third grade female students with dyslexic, among them 40 students were selected via cluster multistage random sampling and then divided into experimental group (Neuropsychological Interventions) and control grouprandomly. The assessment tools included Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children , and the Reading Test of “Nama”. analysis of Covariance showed that Neuropsychological Interventions are effective on the reading components (Speed, accuracy and understanding) of the dyslexic students (P
